Devotional for December 30 - Finding Refuge in God's Favor: A Reflection on Psalm 5:11-12

"But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Psalm 5:11-12 radiates with the assurance of God's favor and protection for those who trust in Him. The call to rejoice and shout for joy is a response to the confidence that God is a defender of those who put their trust in Him.
